Founded in 1974 by just a handful of administrators, the New Orleans Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators has grown to more than 100 members strong! The New Orleans Chapter is affiliated with the National Association of Legal Administrators (ALA).

Welcome to the Website of the New Orleans Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators!

As a member of the ALA you can learn about the many opportunities provided by our Chapter. We help you evolve as a leader and become a greater asset to your firm. Throughout the year, we offer educational meetings and webinars on a variety of subjects. Meetings are held every third Thursday of each month and present our chapter’s most value resource: Networking! The information shared by and between the ALA membership is invaluable.

Our Mission

The mission of ALA is to improve the quality of management in legal services organizations; to promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the management team; and represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and to the community at large.
